Hornbill Cultural Carnival immerses visitors in the “Festival of Festivals” of Nagaland. Held from 1–10 December at Kisama Heritage Village, the celebration showcases the culture of all Naga tribes through traditional dances, war cries, songs and crafts. Clans compete in log-drum beating and archery, while food courts serve bamboo shoot curries, smoked pork and sticky rice. Nighttime rock concerts and indigenous games add contemporary flair as the festival promotes unity and preserves endangered traditions.
